If you need to cancel, we understand that life can be hectic sometimes. We ask that you cancel as soon as you become aware that you are unable to make your appointment, in order to allow the opportunity for others to take your appointment slot.

If he/she is a short term visitor to our area and has no immediate access to healthcare, he/she will be offered the next available appointment as a casual patient. This will incur an non subsidised casual fee.
We encourage people to get to know one doctor but for convenience you are welcome to see any of the doctors who are available. We recommend for continuity of your care that for your long term conditions or if you have an on going illness that you see your usual doctor where practical.

Yes, it is possible for a doctor to see you at home, but only if necessary.
We visit the elderly and frail, or if you are severely unwell and cannot make it to the surgery. We cannot always visit urgently.
You can visit the Medical Centre casually or you can enrol as a permanent patient. We can help you choose a doctor. Make an appointment and we can complete any paperwork if you decide to enrol.
Yes, of course we understand that you might feel more comfortable having someone with you.
Prescriptions may be requested through our website (click for link here and follow instructions), fax or phone.
Please allow 24 hours for the script to be processed. There is a charge for prescriptions.
A follow up consultation is when you come to the same doctor for review of the same acute medical condition within 6 days of the initial consultation.
