Manish Parswani  

Manish is a Registered Clinical Psychologist with the New Zealand Psychologists Board. He currently works as a Clinical Psychologist for Counties Manukau District Health Board and also consults in private practice at Pakuranga Medical Centre, which equips him with knowledge of both the worlds – private and public sector.

Manish has over 12 years of clinical experience in providing psychotherapy and counselling for people with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, abuse and trauma (physical, emotional, sexual) and complex grief. He takes an integrated approach in promoting overall well-being of an individual. He specializes in Adult mental health and Cognitive behaviour therapies (CBT), Acceptance-Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness based interventions. He has special interests in psychoanalytical approaches, couple and family therapies.

He provides supervision to psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers and nursing professionals. He has been an invited speaker at workshops and conferences and published scientific articles in journals and books.

Manish believes that we all have personal and emotional challenges from time to time and psychological therapies have tremendous potential in helping others regardless of culture, ethnicity or race as human values of compassion, respect, empathy, kindness connects all of us. Annie Mordaunt 

Annie has been practicing clinical psychology since 2004. She has gained extensive experience working with adults, adolescents and families in a variety of settings both here in NZ and in South Africa. In addition to working in general outpatient psychiatric services, Annie has extensive specialist expertise in the area of Maternal mental health, having practiced fulltime in this area at Counties Manukau DHB for several years.

 

Annie utilizes several psychotherapeutic modalities including Cognitive-Behavioural therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural therapy (DBT), Family systems therapy, Acceptance and Commitment therapy   (ACT), Mindfulness, psychodynamic and Existential therapy. Annie is also qualified to offer Christian based counselling.

 

Annie adapts the way she works with each client to meet their unique needs, often integrating multiple modalities to empower her clients, enabling them to overcome difficulties and maximize their quality of life. Annie's easy going nonjudgmental nature, enables clients to quickly connect with her and progress towards their goals.

 

Annie is married to Dave and since the birth of their daughter, Annie has chosen to focus exclusively on private practice in order to spend quality time with her.
